Welcome to Advanced Placement Calculus AB
Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus AB is one of two courses offered by the College Board to allow students to earn college credit for Calculus. College Credit is offered by each college/university based on the score earned on the AP Exam in May. To know what you need to receive credit, check with the colleges and/or universities you are applying to either through the College Board Website or through each institutions website.
Calculus in a nutshell is the study of instantaneous change, or change at a moment. In Calculus AB, students will study 3 main topics: Limits, Derivatives, and Integrals. All of these topics will give students the tools to be able to understand and model change that happens everyday.
